Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Foundry Engineer near Durant, Oklahoma, to lead the development and improvement of foundry processes. You will manage projects, ensure quality, and drive efficiency in a precision aluminum and magnesium casting facility serving aerospace and automotive clients.

The role requires a strong background in foundry operations, CAD design, and a continuous improvement mindset. You will work closely with production teams to implement best practices and maintain safety

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of foundry experience focused on process capabilities and control.
Experience in project management within manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of foundry operations and manufacturing processes.
Proven problem-solving and attention to detail.
Experience with CAD software for design purposes.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage foundry processes to optimize productivity, efficiency, and quality.
Utilize process capabilities and process control to maintain manufacturing integrity.
Design rigging and fixture concepts to enhance operations.
Oversee projects from inception to completion, coordinating resources.
Collaborate to troubleshoot and resolve foundry issues.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Conduct audits and maintenance checks on machinery and equipment.
Provide technical guidance to the foundry team and promote improvement.
