Louisiana Bridge Builders is seeking a Foundations Manager in Lake Charles, LA to oversee foundation construction across projects, including piling, drilled shafts, footings, and substructure work. You will ensure safety, schedule adherence, and budget compliance while guiding team development and operational excellence.

The role requires a civil engineering or related degree with extensive heavy civil foundation experience, plus strong leadership, planning, and coordination skills to work with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field; 7+ years of heavy civil construction experience with foundation emphasis OR high school diploma plus 11+ years of progressive heavy civil construction experience with deep foundations operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and manage all foundation-related construction activities
• Review project specifications, geotechnical reports, and design drawings to ensure proper execution of foundation systems
• Monitor production, schedule, and cost performance for foundation scopes and implement corrective actions
• Identify risks related to subsurface conditions, equipment, materials, and production methods; develop mitigation strategies
• Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless field execution
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental requirements, and regulatory guidelines
• Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support for complex foundation challenges in the field
• Review and approve RFIs, submittals, and permits related to foundation construction activities
• Track and report quantities, production rates, and cost data for accurate project financial reporting
• Conduct site visits and field evaluations to ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to the Construction Manager and project leadership
• Supervise team members including training, assigning work, performance reviews, and personnel actions
• Promote continuous improvement in construction methods, safety practices, and productivity
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
