Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Structural Engineer in Louisiana preferred.
• 10–20 years of bridge/structural design experience.
• 4+ years with LADOT preferred.
• Experience managing a team of engineers.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Louisiana Bridge Lead to oversee all structural engineering efforts in Louisiana. This position can be based in New Orleans or Baton Rouge. Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Structural Engineer in Louisiana, preferred.
• Experience managing a team of engineers.
• 10-20 years of progressive bridge/structural design experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience working with LADOT, preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MicroStation, OpenBridge Modeler, InRoads and/or Open Roads Designer.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as OpenBridge Designer, Merlin, Leap Steel, CSI Bridge or other similar bridge design software.
• Familiar with DOT Design Guidelines and Standards, AASHTO LRFD Design Guidelines.
