Louisiana Bridge Builders in Lake Charles, LA, is seeking a Foundations Manager to oversee all foundation-related construction across projects. You will plan, supervise piling, drilled shafts, footings, and substructure work, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and budget control.
Requires a civil engineering degree with 7+ years in heavy civil foundation work (or a high school diploma with 11+ years), a valid driver's license, and a proven track record of leading field teams.
Louisiana Bridge Builders ("LBB") is designing and building the new I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge in Lake Charles, Louisiana (USA) for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD). LBB will also be responsible for the reconstruction of interstate highway, various structures, ramps, and approaches for a 5.5 mile stretch between I-210 West End and Ryan Street.

The Foundations Manager is committed to supporting Louisiana Bridge Builders by overseeing all foundation-related construction activities across projects. This role manages planning, execution, and performance of foundation work (including piling, drilled shafts, footings, and substructure components). The Foundations Manager ensures projects are delivered safely on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards while driving team development and operational excellence.
This position is based in Lake Charles, LA.
At a minimum, the Foundations Manager must have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field plus 7+ years of heavy civil construction experience with a strong emphasis on foundation work OR high school diploma (or equivalent) plus 11+ years of progressive experience in heavy civil construction, including deep foundations operations. Must have valid driver’s license.
