Louisiana Bridge Builders is seeking a Construction Foreman II to lead day-to-day onsite activities for a major bridge reconstruction project in Lake Charles, LA. The role requires directing crew work, coordinating with LADOTD, and maintaining safety and quality standards on a large-scale civil project.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of civil construction experience, a proven ability to manage multi-discipline crews, and a commitment to safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and coordinate crew activities, including hands-on work when needed.
• Assist in preparing reports for LADOTD and developers.
• Maintain accurate reporting records (job quantities, time sheets, daily reports).
• Oversee daily operations ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with standards.
• Analyze equipment and facility performance data to improve reliability.
• Ensure maintenance complies with safety regulations and company policies.
• Respond to breakdowns quickly and mobilize resources to restore operations safely.
• Assist in ensuring contractual compliance and scope of work.
• Participate in safety and environmental programs; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Hire, motivate, and lead a high-performing team through coaching and recruitment efforts.
• Train and supervise staff, provide direction, review performance, and handle staff changes.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and consumables to prevent interruptions.
