Louisiana Bridge Builders in Lake Charles, LA, is seeking a Foundations Manager to oversee all foundation-related construction across projects. You will plan, supervise piling, drilled shafts, footings, and substructure work, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and budget control.

Requires a civil engineering degree with 7+ years in heavy civil foundation work (or a high school diploma with 11+ years), a valid driver's license, and a proven track record of leading field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field; or a high school diploma with extensive experience in heavy civil construction.
• 7+ years of heavy civil construction experience with a strong emphasis on foundation work; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and manage all foundation-related construction activities.
• Review project specifications, geotechnical reports, and design drawings for proper foundation execution.
• Monitor production, schedule, and cost performance for foundation scopes; implement corrective actions.
• Identify risks related to subsurface conditions, equipment, materials, and methods; develop mitigations.
• Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders for field execution.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance for all foundation work.
• Provide technical problem-solving support for complex foundation challenges.
