Figma seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with enterprise customers, translating field insights into scalable product and engineering improvements. You will work across customer environments, tokens, and design systems to deliver end-to-end solutions while collaborating with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Experience teams.

You’ll tackle diverse challenges from frontend stacks to security, contributing to a brand-new function.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping production software end-to-end, with direct customer or partner interaction.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases and environments.
• Familiarity with design systems and design-to-code workflows, tokens, and component libraries.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and collaboration with senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Embed with strategic customers and understand their dev environment and constraints.
• Wire up enterprise design systems and tokens to generate faithful on-system code.
• Run technical discovery and scope fastest credible path to value for customers.
• Debug complex integration problems across git workflows, CI, and environments.
• Build LLM-powered workflows and agent skills tailored to each customer context.
• Turn field learnings into reusable playbooks and feed product improvements.
