Figma is building a Forward Deployed Engineering team to embed with strategic customers, solving complex adoption challenges in large-scale environments. You will ship product code, influence the product roadmap, and partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Experience to drive successful deployments.

This senior role is highly collaborative and customer-facing, with end-to-end ownership across front-end stacks, security considerations, and integration constraints.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping production software end-to-end, with customer-facing experience.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases to deliver production-ready solutions.
• Experience with design systems and design-to-code workflows, tokens, and component libraries.

Responsibilities

• Embed with strategic customers and work across their codebases, design systems, and workflows to ensure successful adoption.
• Write product code and turn field insights into scalable improvements for customers.
• Perform technical discovery and scope value-delivery paths within customer environments.
• Debug complex integration problems across git workflows, CI, and dev environments.
• Build LLM-powered workflows and agent skills tailored to customer contexts.
• Turn one-off solutions into reusable playbooks and feedback for product teams.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Experience to shape the playbook and product roadmap.
