Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer to work with strategic clients in the financial services sector on the Insurance Growth Suite platform. You will embed with customers to design and implement scalable, production-ready solutions, lead technical workshops, and deliver high-impact proofs-of-concept that showcase platform value.

Qualifications

8+ years of software engineering experience, with client-facing roles
Background in financial services preferred

Responsibilities

Serve as primary technical point of contact for strategic client accounts
Lead discovery sessions to understand client architectures and objectives
Translate complex technical concepts into clear narratives for technical and non-technical audiences
Design scalable, production-ready solutions with client architects
Provide guidance on microservices, event-driven systems, and cloud deployment patterns
Prototype and deliver compelling demos and proof-of-concepts for clients
Facilitate deep-dive technical workshops and create integration guides
Surface product gaps and collaborate with product/engineering teams on go-to-market strategy
Travel ~20–30% to engage with clients and projects
