Job summary

Deloitte seeks a highly skilled Forward Deployed Engineer to join the Converge for FSI team. You will embed with top clients, solving complex technical challenges using our Insurance Growth Suite platform, driving platform value and strategic architecture decisions.

You will lead workshops, prototype demos, and provide technical advisory across Java/Spring Boot, microservices, and multi-cloud deployments. This role combines engineering excellence with direct client partnership in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience in client-facing or solutions engineering roles.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent; Advanced Degree is a plus.
• Willingness to travel 20-30% on average based on client needs.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical contact for strategic client accounts, building relationships with architects and engineers.
• Lead discovery sessions to understand client architectures and business objectives.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Design scalable, production-ready solutions with client architects and internal teams.
• Provide guidance on microservices, event-driven systems, and cloud-native deployment patterns.
• Prototype and deliver POCs and polished demos tailored to client stacks and domains.
• Facilitate deep-dive technical workshops and create high-quality runbooks and guides.
• Surface product gaps and drive go-to-market collaboration with Sales and Product.
