Job summary

Deloitte's Converge for FSI team seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to work with strategic financial services clients on the Insurance Growth Suite. You will embed with client teams, clarify architectures, build proofs-of-concept, and deliver technical workshops, shaping product direction while driving high-impact engagements.

You will collaborate across multi-cloud environments (AWS primary, Azure, GCP), lead workshops, and develop demos that showcase platform value in real-world use cases.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with client-facing roles in financial services.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent; advanced degree is a plus.
• Willingness to travel 20-30%; authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for strategic client accounts and lead client engagements.
• Design scalable, production-ready solutions with cloud-native patterns and microservices architecture.
• Prototype POCs and deliver polished demos tailored to client tech stacks and business domains.
• Design and facilitate deep-dive technical workshops and onboarding bootcamps for client teams.
• Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to shape go-to-market strategy.
