Job summary
Deloitte Converge for FSI is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with strategic clients, translating complex technical concepts into practical solutions on our Insurance Growth Suite platform.
You will design, prototype, and demonstrate production-grade microservices in multi-cloud environments, while leading technical workshops and shaping product direction. Strong communication with senior engineers and leaders is essential.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience in client-facing roles.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent; Advanced Degree is a plus.
- Willingness to travel 20-30%.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical contact for strategic client accounts.
- Lead discovery sessions on architectures, pain points, and objectives.
- Design scalable, production-ready solutions with client architects.
- Prototype POCs and deliver polished demos for client stacks.
- Facilitate deep-dive technical workshops and provide runbooks.
- Surface product gaps and coordinate with product and engineering teams.
