EXA is seeking a senior Forward Deployed Engineer Lead for the US East region, based in our New York office. You will own onboarding to production, drive adoption, and oversee retention and expansion across accounts.

You’ll stay hands-on with critical onboardings, review architectures, and mentor engineers while collaborating with Account Executives to ensure customers succeed after close. This is an in-person role in New York.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of programming experience and ability to debug customer integrations.
• Experience working inside real codebases and production systems.
• 4+ years in technical customer-facing roles, including leadership or mentoring.
• Track record of driving adoption, retention or expansion on technical accounts.
• Clear communication with CTOs, engineering leads and executives.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements.

Aufgaben

• Lead and grow the US East FDE team in New York: hiring, onboarding, coaching and performance.
• Own outcomes on your team's accounts: onboarding to production, adoption, consumption growth, retention and expansion.
• Drive key metrics: retention and expansion revenue, time to production, churn avoidance.
• Stay hands-on: join critical onboardings and escalations, review integrations and solve problems.
• Catch risk early: run weekly account health reviews and plan ownership for at-risk accounts.
• Support presales by staffing specialist requests and clean handoffs at close.
• Turn field experience into pipeline: case studies, blogs, webinars and events.
• Feed product with field feedback and rank gaps by revenue impact.
