Job summary

Deloitte's Converge for FSI team is seeking a highly skilled Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with strategic financial services clients. You will bridge engineering excellence and customer partnership, shaping architecture and delivering world-class solutions on our platform across multi-cloud environments.

You will prototype POCs, run technical workshops, and craft compelling demos while engaging with senior technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

8+ years of software engineering experience, with client-facing roles.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or equivalent; advanced degree a plus.
Ability to travel 20–30% on average to client sites in the US.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary technical contact for strategic client accounts, building deep relationships with architects and engineers.
Lead discovery sessions to understand client architectures, pain points, and business objectives.
Translate complex concepts into clear narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with client teams to design scalable, production-ready solutions.
Prototype POCs, demos, and maintain reusable assets; deliver technical enablement materials.
Facilitate deep-dive workshops, runbooks, and integration guides; accelerate time-to-value.
Surface product gaps and coordinate with product/engineering on GTM and roadmap.
