Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join the Converge for FSI team in the United States. You will embed with strategic financial services clients to design and implement world-class microservices and cloud-native solutions using our platform.

You will lead technical workshops, prototype POCs, and translate complex concepts into clear client outcomes, balancing engineering excellence with trusted advisory across multi-cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with client-facing roles.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent field.
• Willingness to travel 20-30% on average.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for strategic client accounts.
• Lead discovery sessions to understand client architectures and goals.
• Translate complex concepts into clear narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate to design scalable, production-ready solutions.
• Prototype POCs and deliver polished demos for client use cases.
