Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) in Boston to lead architecture, design, and productionization of data and AI solutions on the Databricks platform.

You will own end-to-end delivery, drive customer value, and work across engineering, product, and customer teams to ensure scalable, secure implementations. You will collaborate with clients, guide deployments, and help elevate solutions through accelerators and best practices while traveling ~20% for engagements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering production-grade data/AI solutions.
• Strong programming and data pipeline design skills.
• Experience with distributed computing and Spark runtime internals.

Responsibilities

• Lead production solution delivery by designing and building reference architectures and data/AI integrations.
• Guide transformational big data projects from end-to-end design to deployment.
• Coach and empower customers on architecture and design decisions for scalable, secure solutions.
• Collaborate with Databricks teams to ensure delivery meets customer needs and best practices.
• Deliver with customer empathy and translate complex concepts into actionable plans.
• Develop accelerators and best practices to scale impact across accounts.
