Job summary

Praxent seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer who sits with clients to decide what to build and ships it into production. You’ll work directly with client teams, translating business problems into architectures and outcomes, not just tickets.

You’ll own end-to-end delivery, guide engineers, and push for enterprise-grade, auditable systems in regulated financial environments, including LLM-backed workflows and secure integrations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years shipping production software, full-stack.
• Experience leading the technical side of a delivery.
• API design and systems integration.
• Real client-facing delivery experience.
• Production experience with LLMs and agents.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to drive value early.

Responsibilities

• Own technical delivery end to end on accounts — discovery, architecture, build, production, and post-launch.
• Embed with client engineering and business teams to translate business problems into architecture.
• Build production applications and agentic systems inside client environments: LLM-backed workflows, agent orchestration, evaluation frameworks.
• Design integration surfaces and API design for systems not built to be integrated.
• Harden prototypes into production-grade systems with security, auditing, and compliant handling.
• Guide client engineers and delegate work as engagements scale.
• Own hardest production problems and direct implementation plans with engineers.
• Make the case for growth by delivering valuable solutions.
• Flag risk early and leave behind runnable, maintainable software.
