Job summary

Praxent is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with client teams, discover real needs, and build production software. You won’t hand off a spec—you’ll own the solution, ship it to production, and stay until it works.

You’ll spend most of your time in front of clients, translating business problems into architecture, guiding engineering, and delivering end-to-end systems including integration with core banking and data platforms, all with autonomy and rigor.

Qualifications

• 6+ years shipping production software (full-stack).
• Proficiency in Python; .NET or Node.js as alternatives.
• Frontend: React or Next.js.
• Real client-facing delivery experience.
• Production experience with LLMs and agents.
• Willingness to travel 20-30%.

Responsibilities

• Own technical delivery end to end on accounts: discovery, architecture, build, production, and post-launch support.
• Embed with client engineering and business teams; translate business problems into architecture.
• Build production applications and agentic systems inside client environments: LLM-backed workflows, agent orchestration, and integrations with core systems.
• Design the integration surface—APIs and system integration for diverse platforms.
• Harden prototypes into production-grade systems with security reviews and compliance.
• Guide client engineers to enable ongoing evolution of the solution after handoff.
• Own the hardest production problems and direct implementation plans in scalable engagements.
