Job summary

SailPoint Technologies Holdings, Inc. seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge sales and delivery for complex enterprise deployments.

You will implement foundational solutions, guide proof-of-value engagements, and lead technical discussions with large accounts. In this role you will collaborate across sales, product, and services teams, applying AI tooling and modern SaaS architectures to accelerate time-to-value for customers while developing as a trusted advisor within the SailPoint

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of professional work experience in enterprise software, systems integrator, or consulting firm; 3+ years in software implementation or pre-sales.
• Excellent communications skills and extensive experience working directly with clients and partners.
• Working knowledge of technical infrastructure including web services, app servers, databases, virtualization, and directories is required.
• Conversant in modern SaaS architecture.
• Familiarity with AI and agentic coding tools and with Java, XML, Python, SQL, JSON, and cloud platforms is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the sales process and work with direct and channel sales teams.
• Discover and understand customer requirements and align SailPoint solutions to those requirements.
• Participate in onsite and remote foundational implementation engagements.
• Educate customers on high-level product architecture, design and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Lead and contribute as a technical expert on customer engagements.
