Job summary

Earth Breeze is seeking a Senior Formulation Chemist to support product improvement and innovation across our formulations and processes. You will develop new formula prototypes and run lab testing under the direction of the Director of R&D.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage DOE and experiments, participate in production trials, maintain records, ensure safety, and stay current with industry trends through external partners.

Qualifications

• Design of Experiments (DOE) experience including mixtures experiments
• Statistical approaches to formulate and develop chemical-based products
• Experience in home care formulation (laundry, APC, ADW, floor cleaner, etc)

Responsibilities

• Develop new formula prototypes and run lab testing under the Director of R&D
• Partner with cross-functional teams on technical readiness for projects
• Participate in production trials and scale-up from lab to pilot plant
• Maintain detailed records of experiments, stability testing, and analytical results
• Analyze and interpret test results to surface insights for product enhancement
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures for consistency and reliability
• Collaborate with Product Development and stakeholders, updating testing progress
• Maintain laboratory safety protocols per regulations
• Order and manage inventory of lab supplies and raw materials
• Engage with external partners and suppliers to stay current on industry trends
