Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Forklift Operator II to operate material handling equipment in a warehouse. You will load, unload, and move merchandise, perform pre-operation inspections, and support inventory accuracy using RF scanning devices.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficient order fulfillment, with duties including order picking and staging for outbound shipments. On-site work in a warehouse environment is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years forklift operation experience and/or experience using warehouse distribution equipment.
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective customer service skills and basic math competencies.

Responsibilities

• Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following established work practices and safety procedures.
• Completes and documents required pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
• Stacks and stores merchandise in designated rack locations.
• Unloads inbound shipments safely and transports product to assigned storage locations.
• Pulls, stages, and prepares products for outbound shipment.
• Verifies that the correct quantity and product type are loaded and shipped.
• Performs order picking in an accurate, timely, and customer-service-focused manner.
• Maintains required documentation and reports to support inventory accuracy and product security.
• Assists with physical inventory counts and periodic cycle counts as directed.
• Uses RF scanning devices to support accurate inventory management.
