Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Forklift Operator I to safely move and stack merchandise within the warehouse, using forklifts, clamp, or push-pull equipment. You will also assist with order picking and inventory control, ensuring accuracy and productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include completing pre-operation inspections, maintaining safety and quality standards, and using RF scanners and basic Excel to support inventory and reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months forklift operation experience and/or experience with warehouse equipment preferred.
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise using forklift or related equipment.
• Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment according to requirements.
• Verify correct quantity and product type are loaded and shipped.
• Perform order picking in a timely, accurate, customer-focused manner.
• Move products from staging to trailers for outbound loads.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
• Use RF scanners and basic computer tools to support inventory control.
• Report safety concerns or incidents promptly.
