NFI Industries is seeking a Forklift Operator II to join our warehouse team in North Carolina. The role focuses on operating forklifts, loading/unloading shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory through RF scanning and precise documentation.

The position emphasizes safety, efficiency, and reliability, with responsibilities including order fulfillment, staging, and inventory control while supporting cross-functional warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years forklift operation experience.
• Must pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective customer service skills and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following established work practices and safety procedures.
• Completes and documents required pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
• Stacks and stores merchandise in designated rack locations.
• Unloads inbound shipments safely and transports product to assigned storage locations.
• Pulls, stages, and prepares products for outbound shipment.
• Verifies that the correct quantity and product type are loaded and shipped.
• Performs order picking in an accurate, timely, and customer-service-focused manner.
• Moves product from staging or storage areas into trailers for outbound loads.
• Maintains required documentation and reports to support inventory accuracy and product security.
• Assists with physical inventory counts and periodic cycle counts as directed.
• Ensures inventory is rotated in accordance with company standards.
• Identifies and reports inventory discrepancies to the inventory control team and participates in resolution.
• Uses RF scanning devices to support accurate inventory management.
• Reports safety concerns, hazards, or incidents to management promptly.
• Demonstrates basic Excel skills and general computer proficiency to complete required tasks.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by the role and determined by management.
