Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced insurance claims Manager to lead complex engagements across property, business interruption, cyber, and other commercial losses. You will work with forensic accountants, attorneys, risk managers, and brokers to drive strategies and engagements from loss assessment through resolution.

You will manage engagement teams, review analyses, and coordinate carrier information requests while mentoring staff and expanding client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, risk management, insurance, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in insurance claims, forensic accounting, dispute advisory, consulting, or related field.
• Experience managing complex commercial insurance claims or insurance-related engagements.
• Strong understanding of property damage, business interruption, cyber, or other commercial claims.
• Experience supervising engagement teams and reviewing work products.
• CPA, CFA, or CFE designation is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive stakeholders.
• Ability to travel and work longer hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex commercial insurance claims engagements from loss assessment to claim resolution.
• Oversee engagement teams, analyses, and client deliverables.
• Coordinate responses to carrier information requests and manage timelines.
• Develop claim strategies and engage with clients, brokers, insurers, adjusters, and attorneys.
• Mentor staff and senior team members and support business development initiatives.
