Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced insurance claims Manager to lead complex engagements across property, BI, cyber and other commercial losses. You will mentor engagement teams, collaborate with brokers, insurers and attorneys, and develop claim strategies from loss assessment to resolution.

Travel to client sites and in‑office presence are required. This role sits within EY's Forensics Insurance and Federal Claims Services practice and offers growth opportunities with Fortune 500 clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, risk management, insurance, or related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in insurance claims, forensic accounting, dispute advisory, consulting, or related field
• Experience managing complex commercial insurance claims or insurance-related consulting engagements
• Strong understanding of property damage, business interruption, extra expense, cyber, builder's risk, or other commercial insurance claims
• Experience supervising engagement teams and reviewing work products
• Professional designation such as CPA, CFA, CFE
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information to executive-level stakeholders
• Proven project management and client relationship management experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel and work longer hours as needed
• Access to reliable transportation and driver's license recommended

Responsibilities

• Manage the analysis, preparation, and presentation of complex commercial insurance claims for policyholders
• Lead engagement teams, oversee analyses and client deliverables
• Develop claim methodologies and coordinate responses to carrier information requests
• Collaborate with clients, brokers, insurers, adjusters, attorneys, engineers and other stakeholders
• Oversee engagement economics and timelines; mentor staff and senior team members
• Travel to client sites and maintain in-office presence as required
