Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi) seeks a seasoned Human Factors/Ergonomics consultant to support forensic and safety investigations. You will evaluate root causes, design tests, and communicate findings to clients and juries.

The role offers opportunities to lead analyses across industrial, transportation, and consumer product scenarios, with emphasis on risk assessment and expert testimony.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Ph.D. is preferred.
• Certification in human factors or ergonomics is desirable.
• Experience in FORensic or safety consulting is valued.

Responsibilities

• Reviews project proposals to determine scope, funding, and staffing.
• Evaluates root causes in industrial, transportation, and consumer products incidents.
• Provides technical advice and resolves problems with project teams.
• Reviews media and documents to develop conclusions and plan investigations.
• Conducts inspections of scenes and equipment for data collection.
• Communicates findings in written reports and presentations.
