Job summary

Vertex Companies, LLC is seeking a Senior Forensic Engineer to lead investigations for residential and commercial properties, perform code research, and develop detailed remediation plans. This role emphasizes client engagement, business development, and high-quality deliverables across insurance claims and construction defect matters.

The position requires a PE license, a strong track record in forensic reporting, and the ability to manage diverse projects and teams in a fast-paced consulting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of related experience or a Master’s degree and 8 years of related experience.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required, with multiple states preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned Director in meeting annual budget and utilization targets.
• Lead execution of new accounts and support expansion of existing engagements.
• Meet or exceed defined utilization goals and revenue targets.
• Assist Director with drafts of work documents and client communications.
• Travel throughout region to support clients, employees, and leadership needs.
• Establish quality control of service delivery and maintain reputation for quality.
• Provide expert witness testimony for litigation cases as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policy.
