Job summary

Vertex Companies, LLC is seeking a Senior Forensic Engineer in the Chattanooga region to lead complex forensic investigations of residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties. You will oversee report writing, scope of repair, and client communications, with a focus on maintaining quality and driving business development.

The role demands PE licensure, a strong track record in project leadership, and the ability to travel regionally to support clients and teams across assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12 years of related experience or a Master's degree with 8 years of related experience.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required, with multiple states preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Director in meeting annual budget and utilization targets for the practice area.
• Lead execution of new accounts and support retention/expansion of existing engagements.
• Achieve defined utilization goals and contribute to revenue targets.
• Develop client communications, reports, and presentations with senior oversight.
• Travel regionally to support clients, employees, and leadership needs.
• Ensure quality control of service delivery and timely escalation of issues.
• Provide expert witness testimony as necessary and manage cross-functional teams.
