Job summary

The Vertex Companies LLC seeks a Senior Forensic Engineer in Alabama to lead investigations of residential and commercial properties, review codes, and produce detailed remediation plans. You will work on insurance property claims and construction defect matters, with a strong emphasis on client relations and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with 8 years.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required, with multiple states preferred.
• Ability to travel regionally to support clients.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned Director in meeting annual budget and utilization targets.
• Lead execution of new accounts and expand existing engagements.
• Meet individual utilization and revenue targets.
• Develop reports and client communications with Director.
• Provide expert witness testimony as needed.
• Ensure quality control of service delivery.
