Job summary

The Vertex Companies LLC is seeking a Senior Forensic Engineer to perform investigations of residential and commercial properties, review construction documents, and prepare expert reports. You will lead field inspections, assess structural conditions, and support complex defense of property damage claims and construction defects.

You will manage projects, lead teams, develop business opportunities, and travel regionally to serve clients while maintaining high quality standards and professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of related experience or a Master’s degree and 8 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned Director in meeting annual budget and utilization targets.
• Lead execution of new accounts and expand existing engagements.
• Meet or exceed utilization and revenue targets.
• Assist with business development documents and client communications.
• Travel region-wide to support clients and teams.
• Ensure quality control of service delivery and maintain reputation.
• Provide expert witness testimony when needed.
• Manage projects in line with contracts and deadlines.
