Job summary

The Vertex Companies, LLC seeks a Senior Forensic Engineer to lead investigations into mechanical systems for residential and commercial properties, including code research and failure analysis. You will develop remediation plans, author detailed reports, and present findings to senior leadership and clients.

You will manage multiple projects, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure quality, budget, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with extensive experience.
• Master's degree preferred with leadership exposure.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license, multi-state preferred, proven oversight capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead forensic investigations on mechanical systems and related claims.
• Prepare remediation plans including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Author investigative reports for senior management and clients.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Monitor utilization and performance against targets and OKRs.
• Travel as needed to support client and leadership needs.
