Job summary

The Vertex Companies LLC is seeking a Senior Forensic Engineer to lead field investigations, develop remediation plans, and deliver expert reports for insurance and construction matters. Expertise in HVAC/mechanical systems is a plus, with a strong emphasis on client satisfaction and budget adherence.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with project teams, and travel to sites as needed to support claims and design reviews. A PE license and extensive project experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of related experience or Master's with 8+ years.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license, multiple states preferred.
• Strong independent work, client communication, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead forensic field inspections for residential and commercial properties.
• Author expert investigative reports and remediation plans for senior management.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet budgets and utilization targets.
• Support business development and maintain client relationships.
