The Vertex Companies, LLC, a global consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Forensic Engineer to perform investigative work on mechanical systems (HVAC/MEP) for property claims and construction-related matters. The role emphasizes detailed reporting and remediation planning.

You will lead field inspections, develop remediation plans, and author expert reports for senior leadership and clients, while ensuring high-quality work and timely delivery.

Qualificações

• Bachelors degree required with extensive related experience or a Masters with significant experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with multiple states preferred.
• Proven track record of independent work, client coordination, and leadership.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Experience in forensic investigations of mechanical systems (HVAC/MEP) is important.

Responsabilidades

• Lead forensic investigations of residential and commercial property damage and construction/ design defect claims.
• Conduct field inspections to determine cause and origin of incidents.
• Research failures in mechanical systems to identify root causes.
• Develop remediation scope, schedule, and budget plans.
• Author detailed investigative reports for senior management and clients.
• Manage client satisfaction by delivering on-time, on-budget results.
• Support budget targets and utilization for the practice area.
• Coordinate with team members and review work products for quality.
