A professional services organization is seeking an Engineer-In-Charge to manage investigations of various structures. This role involves performing structural analysis, hazard assessments, and preparing forensic reports. The successful candidate must have a B.S. or M.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering, P.E. License, and 7+ years of relevant experience. This is a hybrid role that requires the candidate to reside near Hartford, CT and report to the Windsor, CT office.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in civil/structural engineering, preferably with residential or commercial properties.
• P.E. License with NCEES registration required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and conduct investigations on buildings and structures.
• Perform structural analysis and damage assessments.
• Conduct onsite investigations, gathering field data.
• Prepare forensic reports with observations and conclusions.
• Provide technical support as an expert witness.
