Job summary

Engineering Design & Testing Corporation is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead investigations of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, performing structural analysis, hazard assessments, and materials testing.

The role requires a licensed Professional Engineer, travel as needed, and the ability to work independently or in a team within a hybrid arrangement; EDT values ethics, quality, and client service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage investigations for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
• Serve as primary client contact, manage budgets, site visits, cost estimates, and deliverables.
• Develop and update scopes of work; coordinate resources.
• Prepare repair/replacement cost estimates as needed.
• Prepare forensic reports with observations, data, and conclusions within timelines.
• Provide technical support and testify as an expert witness when required.
• Maintain weekly case status updates and collaborate with leadership.
