Job summary

University of Oklahoma in Norman is seeking a first-line assistant supervisor for Quiznos to oversee preparation, production and serving of food items. You will ensure adherence to best practices, assign tasks, and perform cooking, cleaning and basic administrative duties.

The role may require working during campus closures or inclement weather, including nights and weekends, with uniforms provided and a free meal on 5-hour shifts. A Food Handlers license is required.

Qualifications

• 12 months of restaurant/customer service experience.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handlers License.

Pay Range:Targeted pay up to $15.00 hourly, based on experience.

Work Schedule:Varies based on business needs. Position is essential and may be required to work during campus closures and inclement weather. Will work home football game days.

Position Introduction:

This position serves as a first line assistant supervisor responsible for preparation, production and/or serving of food items for Quiznos. Will work to hold restaurant employees to all best practices. Determines work priorities and assigns work to food service workers and students, while also cooking, cleaning, serving and completing necessary administrative responsibilities. Will complete other duties as assigned.

Normally, employees on a 5-hour shift receive a free meal. Uniforms are provided at no cost but must be maintained by the employee.

Additional Job Information:

• As essential personnel you may be required to work during University closings and inclement weather. Nights and weekends may apply for any operation.
• Hepatitis A Vaccine required if hired, or annual testing.
• Cleveland County Food Handlers Card required within onboarding period.
