The role emphasizes hands-on leadership in a busy kitchen, collaborating with staff, and assisting with scheduling and recruitment to ensure smooth operations and staff coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• Experience in dining leadership preferred.
• Experience as line cook, prep cook or sous chef preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Food Service Director with daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with food service regulations and standards.
• Assist in meal service preparation and staff in all kitchen roles as needed.
• Lead in the kitchen to support staffing and meal production.
• Assist scheduling, recruitment, and labor management as required.
