Job summary

Veritiv Corporation is seeking a Food Sales Specialist to support the Field Sales organization in growing and closing profitable sales for food processing customers. You will provide technical sales support, drive value through food packaging solutions, and collaborate with sales and marketing to expand direct food contact opportunities.

The role requires up to 50% travel and a strong background in food packaging materials, with experience in Salesforce and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 10-15 years of related job experience.
• Experience in food packaging industry.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales support to ensure packaging products meet customer requirements.
• Actively participate in sales pipeline reviews to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Serve as subject matter expert to support food packaging opportunities with sales and marketing teams.
• Lead monthly regional calls to educate the sales team and provide growth tools.
• Identify suppliers and collaborate with Category Management to support DFC opportunities.
