Responsibilities

• Monitor service quality in lounge, dining and banquet areas and address complaints.
• Assist in setting department objectives and analyzing budgets and P&L performance.
• Evaluate beverage costs and establish inventory par values.
• Estimate staffing needs and finalize weekly schedules for productivity and service.
• Make personnel decisions and train new employees; promote programs to improve productivity and safety.
• Administer policies and escalate issues to hotel management when needed.
• Coordinate with department heads to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Inspect facilities/equipment for safety, cleanliness and standards compliance.
• Maintain professional appearance and ensure staff adhere to standards.
• Evaluate food preparation quality and seasonal menu presentation; know standard techniques.
