Job summary

Soho House in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead service, quality control and the guest experience under the General Manager. You will own daily, weekly and monthly delivery on special projects, forecasting, hiring, inventory and vendor relations to optimize the business.

A successful candidate will maximize sales through customer relationships and staff leadership, with a focus on standards, training and scheduling of F&B staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Detail oriented, process driven and able to problem solve in high-volume environments.
• POS or OpenTable, Opera or other hospitality tech experience.
• Influential leader who communicates cross-functionally and leads a team to best practices.
• Knowledge of food & beverage trends and health & safety regulations.
• Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets.
• Guest-oriented and proactive service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Influential leader who proactively manages the operations with the General Manager to ensure service, staffing and member/guest experience is high and budgets are met.
• Communicate effectively with members, guests, and staff to maintain excellent customer service.
• Design and implement exceptional menus, purchase goods and build vendor relationships for continuous improvements.
• Identify customer needs and develop action plans to enhance experience and reduce risk.
• Support HR guidelines and recruitment to attract and develop high-potential staff.
• Set targets, KPIs, schedules, policies and procedures.
• Foster transparent communication and accountability among the team.
• Ensure allergy procedures and a clean, safe work environment for all.
• Prepare weekly/daily recaps covering service standards, staffing, sales, and risk mitigation.
