Job summary

Gray Construction in Charlotte, NC (with offices in Dallas, TX and Lexington, KY) seeks a Construction Project Manager for the Food & Beverage market to lead complex projects from design through commissioning.

The role requires a minimum of eight years in construction management, a related degree is preferred, and strong leadership and communication skills. Work with trade partners, manage schedules, budgets, safety and quality programs, and report progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of experience in construction management.
• Technical knowledge for a PM I role or equivalent on projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of trade partners, suppliers, vendors, and customers, design and engineering efforts.
• Monitor financial status and manage subcontract/contract administration.
• Develop job progress schedules to align construction with the schedule.
• Procure materials and monitor delivery for optimal price, quality, and conformance to specs.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for scope compliance.
• Enforce Gray’s safety and quality programs on site.
• Lead collaboration across multiple teams on the project.
