Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking an on-site Construction Assistant Project Manager for the Food & Beverage market in Charlotte, NC (also Dallas, TX). The role focuses on assisting the project manager with scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and coordination across subcontractors and vendors.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least three years of related experience, with strong computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and email applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; minimum three years related experience.
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and email applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and monitor project progress using a QMS program; manage schedule, estimates and budgets.
• Perform quantity take-offs, cost estimates and bid solicitations.
• Coordinate procurement: materials delivery, price, quality and conformance to specs and budget.
• Review invoices and change orders; negotiate with subcontractors and vendors.
• Attend weekly job-site meetings and assist in preparing status reports.
