Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Sr. Project Manager, MEP for the Food & Beverage market to lead projects in Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX or Lexington, KY.

This role oversees scheduling, budgeting, procurement and safety on site, coordinating with clients, engineers, subcontractors and vendors. Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree and at least three years of related experience, with a proven ability to manage complex multi-site programs and maintain schedules while controlling costs and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and a minimum of three years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and monitor project progress using QMS, including scheduling, estimating, and budgeting.
• Perform quantity take off, cost estimates and bid solicitation.
• Purchase and coordinate the delivery of materials ensuring optimum prices, quality and conformance to specifications and budget.
• Reviews and approves invoices and change orders.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and vendors for specific trades ensuring that all scope is encompassed.
• Attend weekly job site meetings and prepare status reports.
• Communicate effectively with customer, direct consultants and subcontractors on the project(s).
• Responsible for the communication, implementation and enforcement of Gray’s safety program on site.
• Indirectly supervises the activities of subcontractors and field personnel.
