Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Construction Project Manager for the Food & Beverage market to join our team in one of our offices in Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; or Lexington, KY. The role requires coordinating trade partners, managing budgets, schedules, and safety programs across complex projects.

The ideal candidate has eight years of construction management experience, a related degree, and strong skills in leadership, communication, and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Eight years of construction management experience.
• Experience supporting projects as a Project Manager I or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering/Construction/Architecture.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Gray-provided software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of trade partners, suppliers, vendors, design, and engineering.
• Monitor financial status and administer subcontracting and contracts.
• Develop job progress schedules to align construction with the plan.
• Purchase and monitor materials for scope of responsibility.
• Negotiate contracts with trade partners and vendors.
• Review payment requests from trade partners and suppliers.
• Ensure design/engineering teams align with operating guidelines and technical requirements.
• Prepare and present project reports (monthly red files, schedules, billings).
• Lead and collaborate across multiple teams on the project.
