Job summary

ANSER is seeking a FOIA Analyst to respond to public and official requests for review and release of classified and sensitive information under FOIA/PA/MDR. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and 8+ years of FOIA experience.

You will coordinate with SMEs, manage complex cases, and contribute to training and policy development. The position is full-time in Bethesda, MD with a focus on compliance, documentation, and cross-agency collaboration.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Eight or more years direct FOIA experience; Masters + 2 years allowed or 4 extra years without degree.

Responsibilities

• Respond to public and official FOIA/PA/MDR requests for review and release of sensitive information.
• Handle complex cases including litigation and appeals; coordinate with SME review and IC reviews.
• Develop and deliver FOIA/privacy training and policy content for customer staff.
• Peer review artifacts to ensure timely, accurate, error-free deliverables.
• Document and maintain SOPs for activities within IRRG.
• Engage with IC Working groups and government-directed cross-office teams.
• Track case status using customer tools and update dashboards and calendars.
• Provide inputs to annual compliance reports as directed.
