Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking an FM Engineering Operations Manager to lead a facilities team, drive operational excellence, and mentor staff. You will oversee staffing, training, performance evaluations, and hiring processes, aligning with CBRE’s strategic goals.

You will manage daily operations, maintain client relationships, and drive profitable, compliant service delivery; with rapid internal advancement opportunities and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; combination of experience and education considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, and performance and retention.
• Ability to convey sensitive information, set performance expectations, and balance problems.
• Leadership skills to empower team impact on quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees, supervise training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and mentor staff.
• Coordinate and manage daily team activities, establish schedules, assign tasks, cross-train, and track deadlines.
• Maintain relationships with clients, partners, and collaborators.
• Manage profits and losses of the department or division.
• Develop goals and initiatives to guide department direction.
• Guide managers in implementing company initiatives and policies.
• Evaluate processes to identify and solve issues within them.
• Ensure operations are implemented per established procedures.
• Keep regulatory records and paperwork up to date.
• Lead by example in line with CBRE RISE values; align interests to reach agreements.
• Apply knowledge of your field to collaborate and achieve objectives.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.
