Job summary

Blue Origin LLC seeks an experienced mechanical/fluids engineer to design, analyze, and qualify pressurized liquid and gas systems for the New Glenn program. This role supports a dedicated, technically strong presence at our Florida operations facility, with on-site collaboration across the Kent, WA team.

The candidate will handle requirements, layouts, analysis, component selection, modeling, drafting, manufacturing, and test definition, contributing to safe, reliable human spaceflight.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of professional engineering experience in relevant fields (aerospace/oil & gas/industrial fluid systems).
  • Experience designing, building, or producing fluid system components.

Responsibilities

  • Design, analysis, development and qualification of pressurized liquid and gas systems for a reusable launch vehicle.
  • Provide technical presence on the production floor and coordinate with Florida and Washington facilities.
  • Develop requirements, layouts, modeling, drafting, and test definitions for fluid systems.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, manage schedules, and coordinate vendor activities.
