Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Level 3 Fluids Engineer to design, analyze, and test advanced fluid systems for spaceflight. You will develop models, conduct experiments, and validate components for cryogenic and environmental control systems.

The role requires 5+ years in a fluids-focused engineering position, solid CAD and FEA skills, and strong collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams. This is an on-site role with a deep emphasis on safety and reusable launch vehicle development.

Qualifications

• Four-year aerospace or mechanical engineering degree (or similar).
• 5+ years in a fluids-engineering role with fluid and thermal systems.
• Experience with piping, fittings, valves, and welding practices.
• Understanding fabrication drawings and 3D CAD models.
• Knowledge of piping system components and fuel/oxidizer systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and test fluid systems including pneumatic and cryogenic components.
• Develop models of fluid systems and validate with experiments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate fluid systems into vehicles.
• Prepare technical docs and present findings to stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews and manage vendor interactions.
