Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Fluid Systems Engineer to design and build portions of the fluids and propulsion systems for the MK2 Crew Lander. You will own CAD models from concept through verification, lead manufacturability efforts, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure compliant hardware and timely delivery.

The role requires 7+ years in fluid systems, Creo modeling, ANSYS analysis, and strong collaboration within a safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience designing fluid system tubes and components.
• Experience generating 3D models and drawings in Creo for complex fluid hardware.
• Proficiency specifying fluid fittings and mounts.
• Experience with structural hand calculations and ANSYS.
• Ability to interpret P&ID diagrams and apply ASME Y14.5 tolerancing.

Responsibilities

• Generate CAD models for hypergolic/helium fluid system hardware.
• Lead design-for-manufacturability of fluid component assemblies.
• Coordinate with supply chain to procure hardware and manage vendors.
