Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Principal Scientist to lead translational immunology and cell-based assay development, with emphasis on immunophenotyping by flow cytometry and ELISpot. You will mentor junior scientists, design experimental plans, and ensure timely reporting to diverse biopharmaceutical clients.

The role requires a PhD in life sciences, 8+ years of post-doctoral experience, and proven leadership in flow cytometry and cell-based assays.

Qualifications

PhD in life sciences (Immunology or Cellular Biology preferred).
At least 8 years of full-time post-doctoral laboratory experience.
Strong bench skills around cell-based assays and flow cytometry.
Experience with ELISpot and other cell-based assays.
Ability to communicate plans and timelines to clients.

Responsibilities

Mentor Flow Laboratory team members; assist in setting lab priorities.
Motivate team, share knowledge on FACS, participate in recruitment and revenue forecasting.
Design and implement cell-based assays to meet client requirements; include complex flow immunophenotyping.
Write and implement SOPs to perform assays meeting regulatory requirements (GLP, CAP, CLIA, ISO).
Utilize SOPs to perform flow cytometry, ELISpot, and other assays; generate technical reports.
Prepare posters/papers for conferences and peer-reviewed journals; write reviews and white papers.
Review client proposals and train staff in data review and presentation.
Train staff on lab procedures; develop validation schemes; maintain safe lab practices.
Track laboratory efficiency and quality; act as internal expert on advances.
